Sam George of the People’s Choice for President will discuss how his organization has spearheaded a national effort to shift to the popular vote and end the Electoral College system. Fifteen states have approved legislation to establish a national popular vote. Only a few more states are needed for the National Popular Vote to become law. In 2016, the Arizona House of Representatives approved the National Popular Vote for President with bipartisan support. The People’s Choice for President is running grassroots campaigns in Arizona and other targeted states and is seeking activists and supporters to help with their efforts.
