Kirsten is a mom, an environmental attorney, and a Democratic State Legislator who has spent the past 5 years fighting to restore funding to public schools, protect Arizona’s natural resources, and make our communities safer. She’s ready to take that fight to Washington to find common-sense solutions to the challenges we’re facing here in Arizona’s Sixth Congressional District.

Engel was a member of the Arizona State Senate, elected in 2020 to represent District 10. Earlier, she was elected to the Arizona House of Representatives in 2016 and 2018.  Her career experience includes working as an environmental lawyer and as a college professor and associate dean at the University of Arizona College of Law.
