DCQC Adopt-A-Road Program

DCQC is embarking on another great project that YOU can help make successful with a small time commitment.  We are adopting a section of Old Nogales Highway and will conduct a roadside cleanup every three months.  Our assigned road is 1.2 miles starting at the intersection of Old Nogales and E. Quail Crossing Blvd going south.

Our first effort will be on Wednesday, March 3, from 9 to 11 am.  We will meet at 8:45 am in the parking lot between Creative Arts and Technology Center and the Madera Clubhouse.  Bill Foraker has organized these cleanups before and will guide us through the process.  At 8:45, Bill will give us our safety briefing, have us sign the waiver, and answer all of our questions.  John Garcia is our liaison with the Town of Sahuarita and he will provide us with Pickers, Bags, Gloves, and Safety Vests.

If you are willing to participate in this worthy effort, please email Bill Foraker at: flyinsob@gmail.com  Please be sure to share this event with friends who may be interested and ask them to email Bill as well.

Thanks for supporting our Club and making our community a cleaner place.  As a Thank You from the Town of Sahuarita for our work, they will post signs at the north and south ends of our assigned section that recognize our Democratic Club of Quail Creek!
