Join Contest Every Race and Civic Engagement Beyond Voting for a training session on November 3, 4, or 6 to help them identify and recruit great candidates for state, county, and municipal elections in Arizona. The objective is to support progressive candidates in running for offices that would otherwise be uncontested. It starts with research, and below is an IMMEDIATE chance to help make sure Arizona voters can select quality candidates for every seat on their ballot in 2022. Join a team of dedicated volunteer researchers to map upcoming races and filing information for county, municipal, school, and precinct races across Arizona. This is a chance for all of us introverts to make an important contribution--if you don't like phone banking or knocking doors, this is an opportunity for you!

Overall, a typical research assignment will take roughly 2-3 hours of online searching and data entry, which you can do on your own time over a few days. You'll want to have access to a computer with internet and you may need email or phone access if you need information from an election office. This project will run until November 18 and you are free to start any time after you've completed an onboarding session! Your efforts will provide greater access and support for first-time candidates, resulting in more competitive elections, higher voter engagement and turnout, and better representation at the local level.
